My Food Service Management rotation was one of a kind- I had the opportunity to work at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida- the most magical place on Earth!

Here, I was able to was able to create an entire business plan for food waste recycling with another Sodexo intern.

In my free time, I worked with the Registered Dietitian/Wellness Director in the transition from Sodexo's Mindful campaign to Disney/Cigna's guidelines (based on the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines) for healthy choices within the employee cafe's. We collected data on current products and made recommendations for new products to meet the new campaign's recommendations.
